In my role with NBC Universal, I have served in multiple positions with different responsibilities.

Initially, my role was to optimize content for the MyTeams app. My responsibilities included writing headlines, organizing content and writing/sending mobile notifications. I also monitored live streams and worked with RSN writers on major stories.

Currently as a Desk Editor for NBCU Local, I provide written content for tentpole events in the form of articles for the four RSNs (Boston, Philly, Chicago, Bay Area) and 12 owned television markets. These include how to watch posts, analysis and event previews. My team was also responsible for Tokyo and Beijing Olympics coverage for NBC’s owned television stations, where I wrote articles for 12 unique markets during the Games.

NBC LX Live Guest Appearances

Since my desk works with the owned television stations, I have frequently appeared on NBC LX to talk about different sports — mainly the NFL. NBC LX is is a production unit of NBCUniversal that creates lifestyle and entertainment content. Guest appearances on the afternoon show “LX News Now” have been a welcome addition to my job, especially considering my school background in broadcasting.
